Formal letter layout is always examined. Adres, datum, verwysing, aanhef, liggaam, afsluiting. Learn it once, never lose those format marks.
Passive voice in all tenses. Die brief word geskryf / is geskryf / sal geskryf word / is geskryf geword. Know all forms.
Figurative language: name, quote, explain. Three steps every time. Never just say 'there is a metaphor'.
Grade 10 FET grammar is cumulative. Everything from Grades 7–9 is still examinable. Review old notes in Term 4.
Build vocabulary actively. Five new Afrikaans words daily. Test yourself weekly.
