Tips for Grade 9
📖

Build vocabulary systematically in Term 4. Flashcards for difficult words — review daily.

✏️

Argumentative essays need a clear thesis. State your position first. Every paragraph supports it.

📝

Passive voice in all tenses. The letter is written (present) / was written (past) / will be written (future). Learn all three.

🔤

Use the full range of grammar in your writing. Grade 9 examiners expect complex sentences, conditionals and figurative language in your own work.

🌱

One grammar topic per day in Term 4. Systematic revision beats cramming every time.
